Overview
UPS is seeking a Partner Strategy Marketing Analyst to help expand its network of business partners across the Asia Pacific region, including logistics service providers, local couriers, and shipping outlets. The role supports the Alliance Supervisor in shaping strategy and tactics through research, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination. It also involves working with local partner companies and helping execute alliance activities in each country.
This position sits within a Fortune Global 500 environment where the focus is on innovative thinking, collaboration, and continuous development.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct market, competitor, and partner research to generate insights for target countries in the region.
- Evaluate different alliance approaches and recommend the best fit based on analysis.
- Stay current on market trends and industry practices to strengthen partner assessment work.
- Assess the best way to engage partner contacts so that needs, scope, and expected outcomes are clearly understood.
- Set analysis goals that help identify partner needs, uncover growth opportunities, and reduce cost to serve.
- Collect and organize data for presentations that explain findings and support stakeholder understanding.
- Address stakeholder questions and concerns early, including risks and benefits tied to the research effort.
- Help implement alliance strategy and execution across the relevant countries.
- Participate in partner meetings and conferences to support local teams.
- Assist with pricing discussions using target rates, possible revenue, and related inquiries.
- Work with teams such as Marketing, Sales & Solutions, and IE to coordinate local alliance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role and/or within the logistics industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills for engaging stakeholders at different levels.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
