About the Role
Delta Electronics International (Singapore) Pte Ltd is looking for a Market Research Analyst to strengthen its Strategy Marketing team in Singapore. The position contributes to regional expansion across Southeast Asia and Australia by turning market data into practical business insights that inform strategy and growth decisions.
You will partner with regional business leaders to uncover opportunities across major sectors such as data center infrastructure, industrial automation, smart buildings, and energy infrastructure.
Work Location and Coverage
This role is based in Singapore and supports markets across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Australia.
Key Responsibilities
The position involves building market intelligence and analysis to support regional planning and commercial decision-making.
- Carry out market studies and competitor reviews to uncover growth opportunities across Southeast Asia and Australia.
- Study market movements, customer groups, and application possibilities in data center power and cooling, industrial automation, smart manufacturing, building automation, and energy infrastructure.
- Track new developments in areas such as AI, automation, electrification, and the energy transition.
- Create market sizing estimates, forecasting frameworks, and business insights that support strategic planning.
- Identify and map key ecosystem players such as system integrators, EPCs, cloud providers, and channel partners.
- Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and dashboards for regional leadership.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to convert market findings into actionable business initiatives.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and several years of relevant analytical or strategic experience, along with strong communication and data skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in market research, strategy, consulting, business intelligence, or another analytical role.
- Background in technology, industrial, energy, infrastructure, or similar sectors is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability, with the capability to convert complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modelling.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, RPA, or AI-based analytics tools is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience across Southeast Asia or broader APAC markets is preferred.
- Knowledge of data centers, energy infrastructure, industrial automation, or smart building industries is beneficial.
- Strong English communication skills are required; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous when dealing with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional partners.
