Job Overview
SAJA Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Market Access Manager for its Oncology business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is focused on helping the oncology portfolio secure the best possible pricing, reimbursement, formulary placement, and long-term access across important institutions in the Kingdom.
The role sits within the Commercial function and brings together work across regulatory, pricing, payer, and tender processes to support faster patient access while also strengthening business performance.
Market Access Strategy and Planning
- Create and implement integrated access plans for the oncology portfolio.
- Convert market intelligence into practical short-term and long-term access actions.
- Assess opportunities and risks related to pricing, reimbursement, procurement, and access obstacles.
- Coordinate closely with Commercial, Medical, Finance, and executive stakeholders.
Pricing and Reimbursement
- Own pricing strategy work, including benchmarking, scenario modelling, and sensitivity analysis.
- Prepare and file pricing and reimbursement submissions in line with applicable regulations.
- Track how price changes affect lifecycle management, tenders, and formulary positioning.
Pre-Launch Access and Evidence Preparation
- Develop early-access plans that include pricing options and payer engagement approaches.
- Partner with Medical Affairs on real-world evidence and health-economic studies.
- Manage pre-approval access programs where relevant, while maintaining compliance.
Tender and Institutional Access
- Design competitive tender approaches that improve market share and profitability.
- Lead tender documentation, compliance checks, and negotiation preparation.
- Support formulary inclusion with MOH clusters, MODA, NGH, KFSH, KFMC, and major oncology centres.
Payer and Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop trusted relationships with national payers and key policy stakeholders.
- Run pricing conversations, access negotiations, and formulary committee discussions.
- Build customised value messages for payers using clinical and economic evidence.
Market Intelligence and Policy Monitoring
- Follow changes in regulations, access guidance, pricing rules, and oncology policy.
- Analyse competitor activity across pricing, tenders, formulary presence, and new product launches.
- Deliver monthly access updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
Dossier Development and Documentation
- Lead the preparation of pricing, reimbursement, tender, and formulary dossiers.
- Keep a structured repository of access submissions, timelines, and outcomes.
Launch Execution and Performance Tracking
- Support Commercial and Marketing teams with institutional mapping and access intelligence.
- Track key measures such as time to listing, tender success rate, and reimbursement achievement.
- Ensure access activities follow national requirements and internal company policies.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in market access, ideally within institutional or public-sector settings, with oncology experience preferred.
Skills and competencies: Account management, market insight and strategic planning, understanding of relevant laws and regulations, and strong communication and negotiation abilities.
