Role Summary

We are looking for a Manufacturing Specialist to support a client on a contract basis. In this remote assignment, you will help improve manufacturing performance by reviewing current processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and recommending practical changes that raise quality while lowering cost.

Employment type: Contract
Compensation: $40 to $65 per hour

What You Will Do

The position centers on analyzing production systems and improving operational efficiency across manufacturing workflows.

Review existing manufacturing processes to find delays, waste, and bottlenecks.
Create and roll out process-improvement approaches that simplify production and reduce waste.
Work with teams across functions to apply lean manufacturing practices.
Track key performance indicators and share progress updates and results.
Advise production teams on optimization methods and compliance expectations.

Skills and Qualifications

Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, especially process improvement work.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methods.
Strong ability to analyze production data and operational metrics.
Understanding of automation tools and their use in manufacturing settings.
Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.
Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
Experience using ERP systems for production tracking.
Strong troubleshooting skills for solving operational issues quickly.
