Role Summary

This is a fully remote contract opportunity for Mandarin and English speakers who want to work in interpreting. Prior experience is not required because complete training will be provided. The role is suited to candidates who can commit to a full-time schedule and are looking to grow into a long-term interpreting career.

What You Will Do

You will handle both booked and immediate interpretation assignments through phone and video platforms, ensuring clear and accurate communication between Mandarin and English speakers. Your job will be to preserve the speaker’s meaning, tone, intent, and cultural context while keeping the exchange professional and smooth.

You will also be expected to follow client instructions and company procedures, respect confidentiality requirements, meet HIPAA compliance expectations, document calls when needed, and take part in ongoing training and quality checks.

The interpreters may support clients from a range of sectors, including healthcare, business, customer service, and public services.

Compensation and Training

• Fully remote work arrangement
• Paid training for 3 weeks
• Pay of USD 11 per hour, including the training period
• Opportunity to join a long-term, full-time assignment with a major U.S. language services client

Eligibility
