About the Role

We are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to oversee the national Cybersecurity Call for Innovation initiative (CyberCall), which is the flagship innovation programme of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA). This programme aims to foster the development of cutting-edge cybersecurity products and services tailored to critical industry sectors in Singapore.

This position offers the chance to collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders including government bodies, private sector end users, and cybersecurity companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with industry stakeholders and conduct desktop research to identify emerging cybersecurity trends that will guide CSA's future investment in innovation.
  • Collaborate with end users to translate mid- to long-term operational needs into specific innovation challenges for the cybersecurity industry.
  • Proactively identify and connect with innovative cybersecurity firms locally and internationally to expand Singapore's cybersecurity innovation ecosystem.
  • Evaluate funding proposals by assessing their technical innovation and relevance to industry and customer needs.
  • Supervise co-innovation projects in cybersecurity with end users, ensuring milestones are reached and solutions are successfully adopted.
  • Organize and manage meetings and events related to the CyberCall programme.
  • Handle grant administration tasks associated with the programme.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience managing research or innovation programmes, preferably within government or in cybersecurity product management, governance, or consulting.
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Operational Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a business/communications degree with a technical emphasis.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity products available both in Singapore and globally.
  • Outstanding communication, writing, and presentation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and cultivate partnerships.
  • Familiarity with programme or grant management is advantageous.
