About the Company

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is a luxury destination designed for guests seeking a lively island escape. The property brings together entertainment, adventure, and premium hospitality across five acres and features a major waterpark, a private beach, retail outlets, a beach club, and a wide mix of fine-dining and casual restaurant options.

Role Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager will shape and deliver hiring plans that bring in strong candidates, support workforce needs, and strengthen the employer brand. The role works closely with business leaders to anticipate recruitment needs, improve selection processes, and ensure hiring is completed efficiently and in line with approved headcount and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and roll out recruitment plans that help attract, assess, and hire suitable talent, while partnering with business leaders to identify hiring priorities in advance.
  • Review and improve sourcing and selection methods, and coordinate with recruitment agencies to secure competitive commercial terms.
  • Prepare and keep complete recruitment records, including Authority to Recruit forms, job descriptions, and related supporting documents.
  • Stay current with hiring trends and introduce fresh recruitment approaches that improve the candidate journey from job design and assessment through interviews, feedback, onboarding, and alumni connections.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and make sure talent attraction activities reach a broad and diverse candidate pool.
  • Build and manage relationships with target schools and institutions, and lead campus recruitment, student outreach, and hiring events that enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain pipelines of prospective candidates and former applicants, and oversee the candidate management system so records remain accurate and responses are timely.
  • Ensure roles are filled promptly within approved staffing levels and budget, and prepare job advertisements with at least one week of internal circulation.
  • Use modern recruitment tools and platforms, including LinkedIn and applicant tracking systems, to improve efficiency and support a strong candidate experience.
  • Carry out workforce planning for future requirements by considering market trends, legislation, and government support measures, and ensure reference checks are completed for all new hires during probation.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related discipline is required.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a Recruitment or Talent Acquisition Manager in a large five-star hotel or resort setting.
  • Prior experience working in the Middle East is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar labour law and local hiring procedures is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter or comparable recruitment platforms is required.
  • Solid understanding of diversity, inclusion, and workforce planning in recruitment is needed.
  • A master’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Experience managing recruitment agencies and negotiating vendor agreements is an advantage.
  • Previous success in campus recruitment and employer branding is preferred.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning methods, labour market trends, recruitment analytics, and reporting is desirable.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM, or an equivalent recognised credential is preferred.
  • The role requires someone who can manage several recruitment projects at once and still meet demanding deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are expected, along with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
