Role Summary

As a seasonal shallow-water lifeguard, you will be accountable for maintaining swimmer safety and supporting a high-quality guest experience. The role requires constant vigilance, strict adherence to safety rules, and quick response in any emergency situation.

Key Duties

• Monitor swimmers closely and maintain a safe environment at all times.
• Respond to emergencies, assist distressed swimmers, and provide first aid when needed.
• Keep the facility clean by carrying out routine pool upkeep and maintenance tasks during the shift.
• Make sure all guests observe swimming safety practices and comply with pool and waterpark rules.
• Implement emergency procedures and action plans whenever required.
• Join scheduled training sessions to keep lifeguarding skills current, especially for shallow-water conditions.
• Test pool chemical levels and water temperature as part of regular checks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid first aid and CPR certification, along with a lifeguard qualification.
• Strong focus on detail and observation.
• Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach.
• Comfortable working outdoors in direct sun and in water.
• Prior experience in a similar setting is preferred.
