Job description

Role overview

This is a strategic talent acquisition leadership role focused on recruiting across several manufacturing sites. The position calls for an experienced recruiting professional who can improve hiring performance, guide a distributed team, and strengthen the overall talent pipeline.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with business leaders and HR partners to shape and run hiring plans that support workforce goals.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate recruiters working across different geographies.
  • Consistently deliver strong hiring results while meeting defined performance expectations.
  • Keep up with new recruiting practices, market trends, and sourcing approaches.
  • Oversee the entire hiring process, including sourcing, pipeline building, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Handle recruitment for senior and high-profile roles when needed.
  • Act as the main point of escalation for complicated hiring issues that need management support.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand role requirements and make timely, high-quality hires.
  • Develop candidate pipelines through multiple sourcing channels.
  • Screen applicants and assess them through behavioral interviews and competency-based evaluations for both fit and capability.
  • Coordinate interviews and help ensure a smooth and positive candidate journey.
  • Prepare competitive compensation offers in coordination with compensation and HR business partners.
  • Ensure hiring activities comply with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Advise and coach hiring managers on compliant recruiting and selection practices.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to support ongoing improvement.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records in the applicant tracking system to enable informed decisions.

Qualifications and experience

The employer is looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of related experience, or a graduate degree with at least 7 years of related experience. Candidates without a degree need a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in Aerospace Defense is required.

Preferred skills and tools

Strong planning and coordination abilities, a collaborative working style across functions and business groups, solid MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, strong attention to detail, and experience using the ADP recruiting module are preferred.

Additional information

This role spans multiple manufacturing locations and includes responsibility for leading a geographically dispersed recruiting team. The work requires a focus on compliance, data accuracy, and continuous improvement in hiring outcomes.
