The role is deeply involved in daily planning and delivery, including campaign development, creative concepting, and content production. It partners closely with teams in Marketing, Creative, Publicity, and other internal and external stakeholders to build social campaigns that bring each title to life.

This position is based in New York City and reports to the Director, Social Media on the Paramount+ team.

Responsibilities

  • Create social strategies backed by data, using platform-specific creative and ongoing community engagement to support campaigns.
  • Develop and manage content calendars for each title in Airtable, covering launch moments as well as always-on posts across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
  • Track cultural trends and find authentic ways for assigned IP to join the conversation, increase earned visibility, and strengthen fan connections.
  • Review performance signals and continuously improve content, formats, and posting approaches based on insights and evolving platform standards.
  • Generate talent-led and footage-led content ideas that support the overall campaign vision, and partner with producers and editors through production and post-production.
  • Work directly with talent and Executive Producers when needed to share creative concepts, shooting ideas, and social strategy.
  • Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Creative, Publicity, and other departments to keep campaigns aligned and moving forward.
  • Contribute fresh ideas in regular brainstorming sessions and lead social concepts from the first idea through final execution.
  • Manage the paid social creative review and delivery flow, making sure materials are on-brand, optimized for each platform, and submitted on schedule.
  • Guide and support Coordinators in everyday publishing, execution, and creative development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in social media, digital marketing, television, and/or entertainment.
  • Proven experience launching innovative social and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of community-building tactics used to grow fan bases.
  • Strong working knowledge of content creation and execution best practices for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X.
  • Experience using Airtable or a similar asset management platform.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Slack.
  • Strong knowledge of both established and emerging social platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple titles and deadlines at once.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Understanding of scripted television production and the broader content marketing process.
  • Collaborative approach with strong instincts for cross-functional teamwork.
