Role Overview
The Manager - Procurement Compliance Audit at Qiddiya Investment Company will lead audits focused on procurement compliance. The position is centered on confirming that sourcing and purchasing activities align with internal policies, applicable regulations, and recognized industry standards. It also includes audit planning, execution, documentation, and coordination with stakeholders to resolve any issues uncovered.
This role is important for strengthening procurement controls, supporting operational integrity, and reducing compliance-related risk across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and carry out in-depth procurement compliance audits across multiple departments and project areas.
- Detect compliance shortcomings, risk exposures, and weaknesses in controls, then recommend workable corrective measures.
- Work closely with procurement personnel and other stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Draft comprehensive audit reports and communicate audit outcomes to senior leadership.
- Track procurement compliance patterns and suggest ongoing improvements to processes and controls.
- Assist in creating and delivering training sessions on procurement compliance and audit awareness.
- Keep current with applicable legislation, regulations, and accepted industry practices.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in procurement compliance, audit, or a closely related area, ideally in large-scale organizations or major projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
- Professional credentials such as CIPS, CIA, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills, with a careful eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well across functions.
- English fluency is mandatory; Arabic proficiency would be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Saudi Arabia’s regulatory landscape and procurement practices is preferred.
