Field Technician - Installer

Role overview

This full-time, customer-facing position sits within the Filter Group division in Mississauga, Ontario. The installer will carry out on-site installation work for water filtration products, support warehouse and inventory activities, and operate on a flexible schedule. The role reports to the Director of Operations.

Core duties

• Arrive at scheduled appointments and complete on-site service visits in line with Home Water procedures.
• Fit and install Home Water products, including under-counter filtration systems.
• Prepare accurate notes, records, and reports through the systems and tools supplied by Home Water.
• Support warehouse and inventory operations, including forecasting stock needs, monitoring inventory, making purchases, handling relocations, arranging disposals, and keeping warehouse areas organized.

Required background

• Good interpersonal ability and a practical approach to solving problems.
• Prior sales exposure is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, HVAC, or water filtration installations is preferred.
• A valid driver’s licence and access to personal transportation are required.
• Availability for a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Technology and tools

• Comfort using mobile applications and digital work systems.
• Ability to prepare quotes and capture digital signatures on connected tablet devices.

Compensation and incentive

The base annual salary is CAD 48,700 to CAD 65,750. In addition to base pay, the role is eligible for an annual incentive plan tied to both company and individual performance.

Additional information

This is an existing opening based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The position is an entry-level, day-shift role with regular employment status. Travel is required for about 75% of the time.
