Job Description

Located at the AdventHealth Orlando Support Team, this role operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3 PM. Seasonal adjustments may require evening and weekend hours from May through July due to program demands.

The Manager of Programs is responsible for devising and executing program objectives that align with AdventHealth’s mission. This includes supervising and mentoring team members, conducting performance evaluations, and maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders through detailed progress reports. The role requires proactive risk management to uphold program success and facilitating ongoing professional development for the team. Compliance with internal policies and external regulations is essential.

Key duties also encompass resolving conflicts, strengthening collaborations with external partners, and adapting strategies in response to evolving priorities. The manager leads cross-functional efforts to synchronize program activities with broader organizational goals, analyzes performance metrics to pinpoint improvement opportunities, and oversees program budgeting to guarantee efficient resource allocation.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years experience; OR Associate’s degree; OR Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience required
  • At least 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred
  • Experience exceeding 5 years in a related field is advantageous
