Manager MRO Plant Purchase

About the Role

This position focuses on plant-level purchasing for indirect materials and MRO items at a manufacturing facility in Ahilyanagar. The role is aimed at someone who can independently manage procurement activities in a techno-commercial environment and support continuous plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

The selected professional will oversee end-to-end sourcing and procurement for indirect materials and maintenance-related requirements. This includes handling contracts across plant operations such as maintenance, utilities, labour services, housekeeping, transport, logistics, and AMC/ARC arrangements. Experience in outsourcing machining processes will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should be a strong individual contributor with solid plant procurement exposure and the ability to manage large-scale spend. The role calls for a team-oriented mindset, commercial acumen, and the capability to handle procurement responsibility for spends exceeding 100 crores.

Working Conditions

The plant follows a 6-day working schedule, with Sunday as the weekly off. Candidates must be ready to work from the Ahilyanagar plant location.
