About the Role

As part of the International Banking Financial Planning & Analysis team in Canada, you will play a key role in supporting business strategies and ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a customer-centric environment to strengthen client relationships and utilize the Bank's broader systems and expertise.
- Assist International Banking countries with financial activities including month-end and quarter-end closing, forecasting, planning, and report submissions.
- Review and analyze financial statements and results from various countries to ensure accuracy and reasonability of submitted deliverables.
- Identify profit enhancement opportunities within International Banking countries.
- Collaborate with countries to assess processes and recommend continuous improvements to meet divisional performance targets.
- Incorporate the Bank's risk appetite and culture into daily operational decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial measurement systems and comprehensive business models to evaluate financial performance across divisions, regions, and countries, including analysis of FX rates, financial ratios, transfer pricing, and attributed capital.
- Conduct detailed business analysis regularly to offer senior management insights into financial outcomes.
- Create and manage databases and models that oversee system adjustments such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and one-time financial events.
- Promote a high-performance culture while supporting an inclusive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline; possessing an MBA is advantageous.
- Previous accounting experience coupled with expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
