Job description

About the Opportunity

This senior finance role works closely with leaders across supply planning, warehousing, transport, and capital delivery. The position is designed for someone who can turn financial analysis into practical recommendations that improve decision-making and strengthen performance in a complex operating environment.

You will have the chance to influence major choices related to supply chain performance as well as large capital investments.

What You’ll Do

  • Work alongside senior Global Supply Chain leaders to provide commercial insight, analysis, and decision support for planning, logistics, and investment decisions.
  • Convert data into clear, compelling explanations for GM- and Director-level stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted adviser who can challenge thinking, shape decisions, and support leaders in improving business outcomes.
  • Own financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting, scenario work, and evaluation of business cases for selected capital projects.
  • Partner with supply chain and engineering teams to build practical, prioritised capital budgets and track delivery against the capital portfolio.
  • Strengthen performance monitoring by connecting operational measures to financial results and providing forward-looking insight.
  • Support integrated business planning and Sales & Operations Planning processes so financial and operational plans stay aligned.

About You

You are a commercially minded finance professional who is curious about how complex operations create value. You enjoy linking operations, finance, and strategy, then using those insights to create impact.

  • CA or CPA qualification is required.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in finance business partnering within supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or other capital-intensive settings.
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence confidently at GM and Director level.
  • Strong analytical capability, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and data-led problem solving.
  • Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and coach stakeholders.
  • A growth mindset, curiosity, and resilience when working through complexity.
  • Familiarity with Sales & Operations Planning and Integrated Business Planning is preferred, but not essential.
