Through secure, easy, and intelligent digital payment solutions, the company supports consumers, businesses, and governments with products and services designed to unlock their potential.
Role Overview
The Manager, Consumer Marketing, SEA will help shape and deliver consumer marketing activity across Southeast Asia. The role centers on building differentiated value propositions, strengthening brand promise through regional and global programs, and driving consumer engagement with a strong emphasis on social and digital channels to support business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events such as advertising, promotions, sponsorships, trade shows, webinars, and website activities, including logistical coordination and agenda planning.
- Help develop creative marketing content, including thought leadership material and subject-matter communications, within defined guidelines.
- Monitor program budgets and flag any variance or risk when campaigns are not tracking to plan.
- Review campaign results using agreed performance measures and evaluation methods.
- Take part in customer discussions and RFPs where marketing input or solutions are needed.
- Manage relationships with external partners and agencies across creative, media, PR, communications, and events.
- Oversee Mastercard digital platforms including websites, campaign landing pages, and Priceless.
- Use sponsorship assets to create value for customers and cardholders while executing related campaigns.
- Ensure marketing activity linked to Mastercard sponsorship assets follows required compliance standards.
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should be a proactive, collaborative problem-solver who thinks beyond immediate tasks and ties marketing solutions to business drivers. They should be comfortable introducing innovation in both B2C and B2B2C settings, and be confident working through challenges in a fast-moving environment.
Experience and Skills
Applicants are expected to bring strong hands-on experience in digital and social media planning, campaign development, launch, and optimization. Deep knowledge of search engine marketing and optimization, social platforms and user behavior, content marketing, mobile advertising, and audience buying through programmatic exchanges and private marketplaces is important. The role also requires strong analytical ability, excellent presentation and facilitation skills, and the capacity to manage several projects at once while meeting deadlines. Success in the position depends on influencing cross-functional teams, working with internal and external stakeholders, standardizing data, generating early insights, and building persuasive presentations with a clear narrative.
Corporate Security Responsibility
Anyone with access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks must help protect the organization by following security policies and practices, preserving confidentiality and integrity of information, reporting suspected breaches or violations, and completing mandatory security training as required.
