Role Overview
We are recruiting a Management Accountant for a well-established private family office located in Dublin. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for both part-qualified and fully qualified accountants to engage in a hands-on position within a stable organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will oversee daily accounting functions across various entities, ensuring precise financial reporting and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile monthly management accounts for multiple companies.
- Maintain the general ledger and lead month-end closing procedures.
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, and balance sheets.
- Handle journal entries, accruals, and prepayments processing.
- Administer accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and aid with other statutory compliance tasks.
- Support cash flow analysis and treasury management.
- Help prepare year-end financial statements and audit documentation.
- Ensure financial records are accurate and comply with internal control standards.
- Identify and suggest improvements to finance processes and reporting methods.
Candidate Profile
- Accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, Accounting Technician, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in preparing management accounts is essential.
- Strong background in bookkeeping and financial accounting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
- Proficient with Excel and accounting software systems.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
