Job description
Role Overview
This position combines service delivery leadership with project management for a finance organization in Saudi Arabia. The role is accountable for the overall health of IT operations, ensuring the managed services environment runs reliably while also steering ongoing technical change. Key systems under responsibility include the Fineract loan management platform, ERPNext, custom mobile and middleware applications, a credit engine, BPM workflows, and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
Managed Service Delivery and Client Success
- Lead the full service delivery lifecycle and remain the main owner for the managed services relationship.
- Run regular service review meetings with business stakeholders, covering SLA/KPI performance, operational stability, and overall service health.
- Review service metrics with the ITSM Lead to spot repeat incidents, improve support processes, and introduce preventive actions across application and infrastructure layers.
- Manage the handover of newly built proprietary components, such as mobile enhancements or BPM workflows, into the production support model.
- Coordinate with external vendors and oversee day-to-day operations of the Google Cloud Platform hosting environment with a focus on cost control, scalability, and uptime.
Project and Delivery Management
- Plan, drive, and deliver software projects end to end, including upgrades and enhancements to middleware, credit decisioning, and loan system integrations.
- Guide Agile/Scrum ceremonies for distributed engineering and delivery teams, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Partner with business analysts and product owners to convert Saudi financial business needs into practical technical plans while managing scope, timelines, and delivery commitments.
- Identify delivery risks, manage dependencies between packaged platforms and custom code, and allocate engineering capacity as priorities change.
Qualifications and Technical Expectations
- You should bring at least 8 years of combined experience in project management and managed services delivery, ideally in banking, financial services, or fintech.
- An active PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification such as CSM or PMI-ACP is mandatory.
- ITIL v4 certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience should include delivery work across core banking or loan management systems, ERP platforms, and custom microservices.
- A solid working knowledge of cloud environments, especially Google Cloud Platform, is expected.
- You should understand modern delivery practices such as CI/CD, DevOps, APIs, and middleware integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Saudi Central Bank requirements, data privacy obligations, and operational standards in the KSA financial sector is important.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills are required.
- Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English is required for business coordination and technical collaboration in KSA.
