Job description

Role Overview

This hourly position is focused on keeping the store clean, safe, and welcoming so customers and associates have a positive experience. The associate handles routine housekeeping, light maintenance, and replenishment tasks with strong attention to hygiene and detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take initiative in meeting personal targets, store goals, and daily priorities.
  • Keep all store areas tidy by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping mirrors, and picking up trash, hangers, and sensor tags.
  • Thoroughly clean restrooms and the associate breakroom, including sanitizing surfaces and appliances and restocking needed items.
  • Restock register supplies such as bags, boxes, and tissue paper, and remove items that are no longer needed.
  • Arrange and refill cleaning and maintenance supplies so they are easy to access and support efficient store operations.
  • Help maintain safety by spotting issues such as spills, icy walkways, and broken glass and addressing them quickly.
  • Replace indoor and outdoor light bulbs to support a well-lit environment.
  • Use training materials and feedback to improve knowledge of procedures and strengthen performance.
  • Stay current on products, promotions, store policies, and events to support smooth execution.
  • Build a positive team culture by working well with coworkers, sharing knowledge, and recognizing team and individual successes.
  • Greet and assist customers when needed, especially during busy periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
  • Follow asset protection steps, safety rules, and security procedures to help reduce shortages and risk.
