Job description
Job purpose
The role is focused on delivering maintenance scheduling support to the Asset Maintenance team so resources are used efficiently and maintenance work is executed smoothly. The aim is to improve the reliability of the operating facilities across the onshore assets while following the company’s established policies, procedures, instructions, and performance targets.
Important recruitment note

Key responsibilities
- Follow all EHS procedures and standards, and build schedules that reflect lessons learned and identified improvement areas.
- Monitor and update maintenance scheduling KPIs, including follow-up actions to maintain compliance. Prioritise tasks according to schedule urgency and the resources available. Track day-to-day execution performance, support the weekly Asset 14DS meeting, prepare the weekly performance report, and issue the 12-week look-ahead.
- Compile demand from the executable backlog using SAP user statuses RSCH, SCHD, and INPG, and use work outlook data to spot and communicate periods of high or low resource loading.
- Examine the executable backlog and replan work in line with the Latest Acceptance Completion Date (LACD) and available resources.
- Bring all preventive and corrective maintenance SAP work orders into the 14DS for Asset Maintenance, Centre of Expertise (COE), and Workshop & Shared Services (WS & SS), with the goal of maximizing resource efficiency.
- Collect deferred PM work orders and record the reasons they could not be complied with.
- Carry out quality reviews to confirm tasks are fully planned and that materials are on hand before they are added to the 14DS.
- Increase and support campaign-based maintenance activities wherever possible.
- Ensure the integrated 14DS is released on time for PTW requirements.
- Prepare material reservations, including collection and shifting arrangements, and notify the warehouse ahead of time so jobs are ready for execution.
Qualifications
A Higher National Diploma is required.
Experience
The role calls for 7 years of direct maintenance planning and scheduling experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry, including 3 years specifically in planning and/or scheduling positions.
Skills and technical requirements
The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English, have strong computer literacy, and be comfortable using industry software such as SAP PM.
