Overview
Join Cumberland School as a Maintenance Assistant, where your role is vital in ensuring our school environment remains safe, functional, and welcoming for young people. You'll carry out daily repairs, maintain school vehicles, and ensure the outdoor spaces are tidy. This role also offers engaging interaction with students in a supportive educational setting focused on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Role Responsibilities
- Undertake general maintenance and repairs across the school premises to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Drive and maintain school vehicles, ensuring they remain in good working order.
- Maintain the school grounds and gardens, keeping them clean and orderly.
- Be a friendly and approachable presence for pupils, supported by child safeguarding training.
