About the Team and Role

The Business Integrity team focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality user experiences by building robust machine learning platforms and solutions. This role involves working on the next-generation content understanding systems aimed at optimizing TikTok's monetization ecosystem. The successful candidate will collaborate globally and leverage their expertise in machine learning to drive excellence and deliver high-impact products.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake pioneering research in machine learning fields including computer vision and natural language processing.
• Develop and support innovative machine learning-powered products, particularly utilizing cutting-edge AI-generated content technologies such as GPT and Stable Diffusion.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related fields.
• Proven publication record as first author in leading conferences or journals such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, IJCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, or NAACL.
• In-depth research expertise in one or more of the following areas: image/video search, classification, recognition, object detection, segmentation, tracking, representation learning including multi-modality and vision transformers, OCR, large language models, and multimodal generative models.
