We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Technician to join our logistics department in Abu Dhabi. This role encompasses managing tools, goods, and materials within our warehouse and tool shop, requiring meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers will be a vital part of the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage all administrative tasks and documentation in a timely fashion.
- Monitor and organize tools, ensuring proper storage and order.
- Record all incoming and outgoing items using the AADMIS system.
- Maintain calibration status for all tools and test equipment.
- Procure and replenish office supplies as needed and manage inventory accordingly.
- Prepare, modify, and manage correspondence, reports, memos, drafts, and emails.
- Coordinate import and export shipments, ensuring smooth flow of goods.
- Facilitate shipping operations to meet delivery schedules and customer demand with minimal delay.
- Handle receipt of products and orchestrate their distribution.
- Prepare shipment loads in adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Uphold stringent safety and quality requirements at all times.
- Implement measures to prevent quality control issues.
- Ensure the warehouse and tool shop are maintained in excellent condition.
Experience and Education
- Possession of a Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of five years' professional experience is preferred.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- High level of organization and orderliness.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Capability to comprehend and adhere to necessary documentation and regulatory frameworks.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with the AADMIS system is advantageous.
- Experience within the aviation sector is beneficial.
Additional Requirements
This role requires security clearance conforming to ISO:27001+ standards.
