Role Overview
This contract position seeks an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Management professional to provide expert analysis and improvement recommendations on logistics processes and documentation. The role is fully remote and part-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and verify logistics documents including packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers for validity, precision, and adherence to industry standards.
- Create annotated samples of logistics paperwork showcasing best practices in supply chain management.
- Assess existing supply chain processes and propose enhancements driven by practical knowledge.
- Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, emphasizing document formats and optimizing procedures.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to clarify requirements and express complex logistics topics clearly.
- Support quality assurance efforts by ensuring the accuracy and suitability of supply chain data sets.
- Assist in developing training content and materials that reflect industry norms and intricate supply chain challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of practical experience handling logistics tasks such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory management.
- Thorough understanding of logistics documentation, workflows, and international supply chain practices.
- Strong ability to communicate technical logistics information clearly in English.
- High attention to detail in reviewing and preparing supply chain documentation.
- Demonstrated analytical skills focused on identifying and implementing process improvements in logistics.
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related disciplines is advantageous.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with timely delivery of quality work products.
