Role overview

This position focuses on asset management within logistics operations. The specialist will handle routine asset tracking work, ensure transaction records are completed accurately, and manage asset-related data securely. The role also contributes to ongoing improvements in how the asset management function operates.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate requirements and day-to-day activities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and value-driven behaviour across the organisation.
  • Follow governance rules, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.
  • Work in line with data governance controls and information protection procedures.
  • Use assigned resources responsibly and effectively.
  • Apply established operating policies, standards, and work procedures.
  • Carry out basic risk assessments as part of routine work.
  • Support incident response and crisis management efforts when needed.
  • Take part in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help enhance the quality of logistics services through process improvements.
  • Carry out workplace safety and health activities to maintain personal compliance.
  • Perform safety and health risk assessments.
  • Report workplace safety and health incidents promptly.
  • Identify and raise gaps or weaknesses in existing safety-related processes.
  • Work with team members on technology-related projects.
  • Assist in introducing new technologies that can improve work processes.
  • Use digital tools and electronic devices as part of daily operations.
  • Carry out daily operational tasks in accordance with customer and contract requirements.
  • Perform asset management security activities according to approved plans.
  • Follow procedures for secure handling of assets and data.
  • Support data consolidation and related documentation activities.

Requirements

  • Working familiarity with SAP, a Warehouse Management System, supply chain software, or ERP platforms.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • GCE N/O Levels or NITEC qualification.
  • About 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations or vendor management.
