Role Overview
This position is for a Logistics Specialist based in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on managing shipment flow, keeping inventory and delivery timelines on track, and working closely with external and internal partners to support smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate shipments across both local and overseas routes.
- Track stock movement and keep an eye on delivery plans and timelines.
- Work with suppliers, freight partners, and transport companies to support daily operations.
- Handle shipping paperwork and keep records accurate and up to date.
- Address shipment delays and other logistics-related disruptions.
- Follow company procedures and comply with applicable rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Prior background in logistics, supply chain, or transportation roles.
- Strong ability to organise tasks and solve problems effectively.
- Good communication skills and experience managing external and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and ERP or logistics software.
- Capability to juggle several priorities in a busy, fast-moving work setting.
