Logistics Specialist-1

Position Summary

This role is focused on transporting customer goods safely and on time, using sound knowledge of road rules and commercial driving requirements. The person in this position will help ensure every delivery meets the planned schedule while following the company’s safety and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods according to schedule and support the loading and unloading process.
• Prepare items for dispatch, including picking and packing products for customer delivery.
• Verify that all shipment paperwork and load-related documents are accurate and complete.
• Escalate any order discrepancies or issues to the immediate supervisor and keep proper records.
• Carry out simple vehicle checks and routine maintenance steps as required.
• Handle fragile and sensitive products carefully to avoid damage.
• Work in a way that reduces environmental impact and supports workplace health and safety.
• Sort waste correctly and keep the work area clean and organised.
• Suggest improvements to systems and processes to the immediate superior.
• Follow management system requirements and workplace procedures.
• Observe company safety rules and the controls described in the WSH Risk Assessment.
• Avoid any unsafe behaviour that could put yourself or others at risk.
• Use the personal protective equipment provided and maintain safe working practices.
• Support environmental protection, pollution prevention, compliance obligations, and sustainable practices.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• GCE N Level or secondary school completion is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid Class 4 driving licence is mandatory.
• Ability to take instructions and complete tasks within the assigned timeframe.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
