Business Manager Pharma GCC Region

Role Overview

Brenntag Saudi Arabia is looking for an accomplished Business Manager in Pharma to work from Saudi Arabia and support growth across the GCC region. This role is centered on expanding revenue, leading sales activity, creating new business opportunities, and strengthening partnerships with customers and suppliers in the pharmaceutical sector.

What You Will Do

• Shape and drive a pricing and value strategy for new opportunities in pharmaceutical chemical additives, APIs, and biopharma ingredients across GCC markets, with focus on key countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, manage proposal preparation and coordination, handle negotiations, close opportunities, and respond to RFQs.
• Build strong market understanding and define practical go-to-market approaches for the pharma segment.
• Lead and support the sales team to achieve business targets.
• Contribute to strategy development and execution within current accounts and distributor networks by building effective relationships at multiple levels and identifying new prospects.
• Develop market insight and plans for onboarding new suppliers in the assigned sector.
• Support the launch of new products through launch planning, creation of product materials and technical data sheets, inventory coordination, product testing, and targeted marketing efforts to secure commercial success.
• Continuously review existing customers, new customer groups, and pipeline opportunities to identify growth potential.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry, ideally from a well-regarded university.
• Must be based in Saudi Arabia.
• At least 10 to 15 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical chemicals or specialty chemicals sales and business development.
• Strong command of English.
• Ability to build durable relationships, with solid communication and process management abilities.
• Practical understanding of business, operational, and financial environments, along with customer needs, to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Comfortable working through uncertainty and adapting to change and ambiguity.
• Self-driven mindset with willingness to take ownership of business responsibilities.
