Job description

About Solplanet and AISWEI

Solplanet is guided by the idea that solar power should be accessible to everyone. The company focuses on making the experience better for distributors, installers, and end users by offering solar inverters, energy storage systems, and EV chargers that are simple to install, dependable, and easy to use.

Behind the brand, private equity-backed AISWEI is a renewable energy solutions provider with a broad portfolio that includes solar inverters, batteries, EV chargers, heat pumps, and energy management systems. The company brings more than 15 years of experience in research, development, and manufacturing, combining German and Chinese technology strengths. With annual production of 32 GW in 2024, AISWEI ranks among the world’s largest manufacturers of solar string inverters. It operates under its own name in China and internationally through the Solplanet brand, and also serves as an ODM partner to leading global brands.

The team sees itself as part of a shared global community and takes pride in delivering solutions that support local societies around the world every day.

Role overview

This position is for a careful and committed Logistics Quality Specialist who will strengthen quality performance in the central European warehouse. The role centers on consistent inspection of incoming and outgoing PV inverters and battery systems, while also acting as a key contact for investigating failures and process gaps throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

You will design inspection plans and quality guidelines for incoming deliveries, then carry out systematic checks on goods as they arrive. On the outbound side, you will verify shipping quality by reviewing item condition, packaging integrity, load securing, and pallet completeness before products are dispatched to customers.

The role also includes maintaining thorough records of test outcomes, defect patterns, and deviations in the quality management system. You will help prepare KPIs and reporting outputs, and take the lead in responding to quality issues by initiating immediate corrective actions such as blocking affected goods or clarifying issues with suppliers.

In addition, you will perform root-cause investigations across transport damage, product-related issues involving inverters and batteries, supply chain processes, and internal warehouse operations. You will support complaint handling for both internal and external cases in coordination with supplier management and customer service.

Another important part of the job is contributing to process improvement efforts that lower error rates and raise efficiency. You will also manage restricted stock, including defective items and materials waiting for inspection, within the designated quarantine area.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has completed vocational training as a warehouse specialist, warehouse logistics specialist, or a similar qualification, along with several years of work experience, preferably in a quality-focused role. As an alternative, the employer will also consider completed technical training such as industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician, or a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, quality management, or a related technical discipline.

Applicants should bring several years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, ideally in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing settings. Strong practical knowledge of incoming and outgoing inspections is required. Familiarity with problem-solving tools such as 8D reports, Ishikawa diagrams, and the 5 Whys is a strong advantage. Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and audit processes is preferred.

The role also calls for initiative, a collaborative mindset, a structured and solution-driven working style, accountability, strong attention to detail, and solid analytical skills. Candidates should be comfortable using MS Office, especially Excel, and have experience with ERP or merchandise management systems such as SAP for inventory and complaint handling. Accurate documentation skills are essential. Fluent written and spoken German and English are required, and additional languages would be beneficial.

What the company offers

You will join a diverse and enthusiastic team of specialists in an open-minded working environment. The company supports both personal and professional development and offers the chance to grow in an international setting that values your abilities and expertise.

The position also provides the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing Solplanet team with flat hierarchies, quick decision-making, and strong potential for building a long-term career in the renewable energy sector.
