Role Overview

We are looking for a Logistics & Planning Executive to support the operations in Australia and New Zealand. This role is crucial in driving operational excellence, ensuring a responsive, flexible, and cost-efficient logistics network serving our stores, while effectively managing inventory levels in both quantity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage entire supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring strict adherence to import, export, and customs regulations.
  • Collaborate with customs brokers and internal stakeholders to streamline procedures, reduce costs, and align logistics activities with the brand's strategy.
  • Design, implement, and refine domestic transportation practices to enhance service quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Track all inbound and outbound shipments, validate invoices and freight charges, and maintain comprehensive shipment documentation.
  • Keep precise stock movement data; assist in stocktaking efforts, price modifications, and inventory redistribution between stores.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Supply Chain team to manage product replenishment, seasonal releases, and merchandise assortment planning.
  • Act as the main logistics and supply chain liaison for stores, including management of sold order processes.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to anticipate business requirements and deliver optimal logistical solutions.
  • Continuously identify inefficiencies in local transportation and introduce initiatives to boost service levels, cut costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure operational activities comply with market regulations, working closely with the Retail Operations team.
  • Analyze monthly logistics performance metrics, such as transportation expenses, delivery timelines, and storage costs, to guarantee competitive rates and quality service.
  • Support the Logistics and Distribution Manager with special projects and system implementations as necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • Over five years' experience in retail logistics management.
  • Expertise in international logistics and freight operations, including thorough knowledge of CITES requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong skills in managing stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and financial understanding, with a capacity to influence decisions and outcomes effectively.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, thriving in a dynamic and fast-moving luxury retail environment.
