Role overview
Ground Control is hiring a dependable Litter Picker in Darlington, DL14PU. This is a permanent, full-time position with early-morning hours on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6:00am to 9:00am. Pay is set above the Real Living Wage.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and seeing the immediate impact of their efforts. The job contributes to cleaner, safer, and more welcoming public spaces for the community and local wildlife.
What the role involves
You will spend your shifts collecting litter, emptying bins, and disposing of waste in a safe and responsible way. Appropriate protective equipment will be provided. Much of the work is carried out independently, while still being part of a supportive and friendly team.
Candidate profile
The employer is looking for someone reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working outside in all weather conditions. Previous experience is not required. A positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and the ability to take pride in doing the job well are more important.

Recruitment process
