Line Haul Driver

About the Role

This position is for a fleet-focused driver who values customer service, works well in a team, and is looking to grow within an established logistics environment. The role is part of a recognized fleet division that has been acknowledged multiple times as a top employer in the trucking industry.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise from the distribution centre to retail locations.
• Shunt trailers around the yard when required.
• Inspect the truck and trailer to confirm they meet legal and safety standards.
• Record and refresh delivery progress/status information.
• Carry out minor truck maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driving licence with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of work experience relevant to the role.
• Strong customer service approach and the ability to represent the company professionally.
• Good problem-solving ability, including knowing when to escalate issues to the appropriate person.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work based on operational needs.
• Experience driving a 5-ton truck.
