Job Overview
Join the Leisure Club team at Jacksons Hotel in Ballybofey, County Donegal, as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor. This role offers diverse daily experiences where you’ll actively ensure guest safety, teach swimming lessons, and contribute to memorable recreational activities for all members and visitors. Primary Duties
- Monitor the swimming pool and adjacent areas continuously to guarantee guest and member safety.
- Conduct engaging swimming lessons for both children and adults following established teaching guidelines.
- Greet and assist guests warmly while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Perform routine safety inspections of the pool area and uphold top cleanliness standards within the Leisure Club facility.
- Respond effectively to emergencies by providing first aid and implementing emergency protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow Leisure Club staff to foster a secure, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Valid Lifeguard certification with all documents up to date.
- Possess the legal right to work in Ireland.
- Availability and willingness to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- Certification as a Swim Instructor.
