About the Role
Join ChatScopeAI as a Legal Data Analyst and contribute to our expanding SaaS and API platform focused on global legal, legislative, and regulatory intelligence. You will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and organizing legal data into high-caliber datasets that power our software systems, APIs, and AI-driven legal research tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research on legislation, regulations, government notices, and official legal publications across various jurisdictions.
- Continuously track legal and regulatory developments to update and maintain precise databases.
- Extract, categorize, and format legal data into standardized datasets suitable for software applications and APIs.
- Validate legal information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Distill complex legal materials into clear, searchable summaries.
- Work alongside software developers and AI teams to enhance the quality and automation of legal data.
- Create documentation, data standards, and implement quality assurance methods.
- Drive ongoing enhancements in legal data gathering and validation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficient legal research and analytical capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and skills to interpret legal texts including legislation and regulations.
- Familiarity with government legal databases and official legislative resources is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in written English and documentation skills.
- Comfortable handling spreadsheets, databases, and structured datasets.
- Understanding of legal technology, AI, APIs, or data management would be a plus.
