Position Overview
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this position plays a vital role in managing daily legal and compliance operations throughout the organization. The role provides broad exposure across a variety of areas including compliance monitoring, regulatory governance, legal documentation, marketing and disclosure reviews, AML/KYC compliance, policy formulation, board reporting, investment compliance, and international regulatory issues. Additionally, the role involves participating in cross-functional projects and company-wide initiatives, ensuring no two days are alike.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 2 to 5 years of experience within legal and compliance roles specifically in funds management or superannuation.
- Holds a degree in Law, Commerce, or a related field.
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail paired with strong organizational capabilities.
- Exhibits proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Has the ability to cultivate effective stakeholder relationships.
- Adopts a proactive, hands-on approach with eagerness to continue learning.
- Qualifications such as RG146 or other compliance certifications are advantageous.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
