Job Overview
This role is responsible for directing a team of around twenty salaried employees and technologists within the Methods groups. The leader manages human resources activities, finances, and technological advancements for this multidisciplinary department while coordinating manufacturing support with production teams. The position oversees first article inspections, improvement projects, and the establishment and control of departmental processes with external partners, ensuring exceptional customer service. Additionally, the leader supports initiatives aimed at implementing operational excellence within the department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA, alternatively a college diploma with substantial aerospace industry experience
- Over three years of proven management experience
- Strong judgment, adaptability, result orientation, and capacity to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Resourcefulness and enthusiasm for teamwork
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational capabilities, and technical knowledge
- Fluency in both French and English
