About the Role
Join Parsons as a Lead in Project Risk where you will oversee the enforcement of comprehensive Project Risk Management policies spanning various local and international projects. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply ISO 31000 International Risk Management principles across client projects.
- Work alongside Delivery Teams to promptly identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure periodic reviews and updates of the client’s Risk Management system.
- Support the Risk Management team in executing risk strategies across projects.
- Identify critical control points to minimize risk exposure effectively.
- Escalate high-severity risks that jeopardize projects or organizational interests.
- Analyze and report on the health of the Risk Management system in compliance with Enterprise Risk Management policies.
- Conduct risk awareness presentations and workshops for client staff.
- Assist with periodic reporting including annual risk reviews and top risk updates.
- Manage risk activities across local and regional projects, prioritizing tasks independently as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Over seven years of experience in Risk Management or equivalent supervisory roles, preferably within real estate or building/infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical abilities, coaching capability, and proficiency in computing and report writing.
Preferred Skills
- Fluent communication skills in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
- Capability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to professionally engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
