Lead Project Manager

About the Role

Crédit Agricole CIB is searching for a Senior Lead Project Manager to head the Project Management (PM) team within its control tower section in Singapore. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of complex projects and the management of cross-functional teams in a multicultural setting. This role emphasizes end-to-end project oversight to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives, with a focus on budget, quality, schedule, and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee the portfolio of CIB IT projects, setting priorities in alignment with business strategies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Project Management team, supervising multiple concurrent projects.
• Serve as the escalation point for project-related challenges within the team.
• Establish a governance model for optimal stakeholder engagement and promote effective project management practices.
• Enhance organizational project management maturity through coaching, training, and direct support.
• Develop, measure, and report on KPIs for project performance and propose continuous improvements.
• Ensure all projects deliver agreed outcomes in terms of cost, time, scope, quality, and security.
• Supervise large, multi-region IT projects, adapting to local financial and regulatory requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear project requirements and manage risk proactively throughout project lifecycles.
• Document and oversee project handover with production teams and maintain up-to-date process documentation.

Qualifications and Profile

• At least 8 years of relevant project management experience, ideally in corporate and investment banking (CIB).
• Demonstrated leadership and advanced team management skills.
• Proven ability to distill complex information and direct cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities across all organizational levels.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies; PMP or similar certification is advantageous.
• Practical experience with IT infrastructure project components and risk management.
