Lead Production Planning Control

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Production Planning Control specialist to manage and execute assembly scheduling and inventory coordination for electric vehicle manufacturing using SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle assembly schedules utilizing SAP PP based on dispatch and sales forecasts.
• Manage accurate multi-level Assembly Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing sequences, and work centers in SAP.
• Convert planned orders into released production orders; confirm daily completion stages of assembly via SAP.
• Coordinate material kitting, sequencing, and JIT/KANBAN line feeding for critical EV parts including battery packs, motors, controllers, and wiring harnesses.
• Monitor component availability through SAP inventory interfaces to prevent production line stoppages.
• Track and compare daily shift production targets against actual output; sequence vehicle variants following takt times.
• Manage and reconcile material movements in SAP: Goods Issue to assembly orders and Goods Receipt for finished products.
• Control work-in-progress (WIP) inventory on the shop floor; perform physical stock checks vs SAP data.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Pre-Delivery Inspection teams to ensure smooth vehicle handover to finished goods inventory.
• Prepare daily SAP-generated reports covering plan attainment, line efficiency, downtime reasons, and component shortage risks.
