Within the Corporate Functions – Procurement & Strategic Sourcing division, you will optimize procurement and sourcing operations efficiently. The team supports service departments and employees on a national and international scale, providing comprehensive service offerings.
This opportunity is based in multiple German cities including Berlin, Düsseldorf, Dresden, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Köln, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Mannheim, München, Nürnberg, and Stuttgart, with a focus on the Berlin location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial tenders, negotiations, and contractor awarding for external product and service acquisitions across a variety of projects.
- Develop supplier management strategies by applying analytical insights to address critical supply needs thoughtfully.
- Drive procurement process automation and governance to deliver optimal results for stakeholders.
- Analyze financial and purchasing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and inform corrective actions.
- Act as a proactive communication point for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating smooth operations.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Completed university degree in business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent vocational training such as industrial clerk.
- Academic focus on supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or similar fields with an IT emphasis.
- At least three years of professional experience in IT procurement, with expertise in digital workplace technologies, cloud and network infrastructure, and artificial intelligence ideally.
- Strong self-motivation, assertiveness, fast comprehension, and analytical mindset paired with sound financial acumen.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken), and proficiency with MS Office and SAP MM or SAP Ariba platforms.
