Role Overview

Silverado Lee's Summit is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to help keep the community clean, comfortable, and respectful for residents. Key Duties

  • Gather, wash, and separate laundry for the community.
  • Handle resident clothing and linens carefully and in accordance with cleanliness standards.
  • Support the department and community in meeting operational goals.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent educational background is preferred.
  • You must be comfortable working around animals and pets.
  • Strong English reading, writing, and speaking ability is required.
  • This job involves regular physical activity, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • You should be willing to work with people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
  • Reliable transportation is needed to meet attendance and punctuality expectations.

Schedule

This is a full-time morning shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected pay range for this position is $15 to $17 per hour.
