About the role
Silverado Thousand Oaks is looking for a Housekeeper to help create a clean, secure, and comfortable setting for residents. Work schedule
This is a full-time morning shift role with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key duties
- Carry out housekeeping tasks across the community.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation in resident rooms and shared areas.
- Help preserve a safe and dignified environment for residents with memory-related conditions.
- Support daily operations with reliability and a service-minded approach.
Qualifications and fit
No previous experience is required, though experience in assisted living or hospitality would be an advantage. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working as part of a collaborative team. Compassion, consistency, and integrity are important for success in this role.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent educational background is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Comfortable being around animals and pets.
- Willingness to work with people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
- Physically active work environment involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Prior experience with older adults or memory care is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is needed to meet attendance and punctuality expectations.
