McLean Farms is a family-owned agribusiness in Pittsworth, about 30 minutes southwest of Toowoomba. The business operates across several agricultural areas, including livestock and food production, grain handling, compost, and feed mill operations.

Role Overview

This hands-on landscaping position supports the upkeep of the property and surrounding grounds. The role involves routine lawn and garden maintenance, equipment care, and occasional support tasks across the site.

Key Duties

  • Carry out regular mowing across all grassed areas.
  • Apply spraying treatments to manage vegetation growth with accuracy.
  • Set up new plants and look after existing garden beds and trees.
  • Install and service irrigation systems.
  • Look after tools, equipment, and vehicles used on the job.
  • Operate machinery when properly licensed to do so.
  • Support pest control activities and livestock movement when needed.

What You Need

  • A current, valid driver’s licence.
  • Prior experience in grass slashing and general property maintenance.
  • Ability to work both with a team and independently when required.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to cooperate with internal and external contacts.
  • A commitment to workplace safety, biosecurity, and operational procedures.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a motivated attitude.
  • HR licence and tractor experience are preferred but not mandatory.
  • ACDC accreditation is preferred but not essential.
