About the Role
An opportunity is available for a seasoned Land Surveyor in Accra to contribute to land mapping, boundary confirmation, and live land transaction mapping. This position is central to collecting precise land data, supporting property development initiatives, and helping maintain clear and reliable land records.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out field and site surveys with current surveying instruments.
- Create dependable site plans, boundary diagrams, and topographic layouts.
- Manage and refresh digital land maps along with spatial information systems.
- Assist with live mapping and validation of land transactions.
- Check boundary lines and address inconsistencies found in field measurements.
- Work closely with engineers, planners, and legal professionals on land-related assignments.
- Follow applicable surveying standards and regulatory obligations.
- Prepare concise reports and supporting documentation based on collected field information.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of verified experience working as a Land Surveyor.
- Practical expertise with modern survey tools such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and drones where relevant.
- Working knowledge of digital mapping platforms and GIS applications.
- Capability to operate real-time land transaction mapping systems or similar tools.
- Solid grasp of land measurement, boundary marking, and cadastral surveying practices.
- Strong precision and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to read technical drawings and spatial datasets.
Preferred Attributes
Background in land administration, real estate, or infrastructure-related projects is an advantage.
The role calls for strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, independent field work, and effective communication for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
