About the Role
RCI, part of Park Paving Ltd., is hiring a Labourer for a full-time seasonal position in Edmonton, Alberta. The role comes with competitive wages and employee benefits.
What You’ll Do
- Guide trucks entering and leaving the yard to keep traffic moving safely.
- Inspect incoming loads to confirm they meet RCI’s acceptable material standards.
- Work directly with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Carry out regular yard upkeep and organization, including mowing grass and collecting waste.
- Support a variety of general labour tasks whenever required.
- Have the chance to learn and operate a front-end loader.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in yard upkeep and organization is considered an advantage.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required.
- You must be comfortable working outside and handling physically demanding work.
- A strong work ethic is essential.
- A polite, respectful manner is expected.
Schedule and Work Conditions
This position is scheduled for 5 days per week, with 8-hour shifts. Hours may increase depending on yard activity, and Saturday work may also be needed.
The ideal candidate will do well in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and high-pressure setting. You should be able to work closely with operators, crew members, and supervisors, while helping maintain a strong safety culture, accountability, and a positive workplace atmosphere.
Employment Conditions
Applicants selected for this role must have a driving record without major infractions and will need to complete a medical/fitness examination as part of employment conditions.

Compensation
Pay is set between $18 and $20 per hour.
