Lab Manager – Yarn

Position Overview

We are urgently seeking a Lab Manager specializing in Yarn to oversee and optimize our laboratory operations. This full-time onsite role is based in Warangal, Telangana, India, with immediate joining preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory activities and manage lab staff effectively.
• Ensure the laboratory meets BIS, IMS, safety, quality assurance, customer audits, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee testing procedures, maintain equipment, and manage laboratory documentation rigorously.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and quality control protocols.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, and other relevant departments.
• Evaluate test outcomes and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
• Administer laboratory assets, including consumables and schedule equipment calibration promptly.
• Provide training and mentorship to laboratory team members.
• Lead initiatives to continuously enhance laboratory processes and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or related disciplines.
• Preferably have experience in textile, polyester yarn, polymer, chemical, or manufacturing sectors.
• Have a minimum of 5 to 10 years in laboratory management roles.

Skills and Competencies

• Demonstrated strong management and leadership capabilities in a laboratory environment.
• Proficient with laboratory testing standards and quality management systems.
• Experience with audit procedures, compliance requirements, and documentation control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge or experience with laboratory accreditation or quality management systems is a plus.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is ₹50,000 to ₹85,000.
