Overview

KPMG is seeking contract KYC analysts to support financial crimes work for client engagements. This role focuses on reviewing customer information, supporting due diligence requirements, and helping clients meet anti-money laundering and related regulatory obligations. The position is remote, runs on 6-month contracts for an end-client assignment, and may be extended. Hiring is open at several experience levels, from junior through senior.

What you'll do

  • Review client profiles and identify which KYC information is required based on procedure.
  • Examine existing records and request updated documents when changes are detected.
  • Gather client information from public sources.
  • Assess collected data, perform validation checks, and work with internal teams to obtain missing details and documents.
  • Carry out name screening and background verification.
  • Enter client data and upload supporting documents into the KYC platform.
  • Help ensure due diligence files for new onboarding cases and recertifications are completed on time and in line with local regulations and global bank procedures.
  • Coordinate with quality control and compliance teams when issues arise.
  • Keep KYC due diligence records properly maintained, current, and complete.
  • Stay knowledgeable and complete required training to remain fully competent in the role.

What you need

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, law, banking, or a similar field.
  • 1 to 7 years of experience in KYC or AML work.
  • Background in research, data review, and document analysis.
  • AML or CAMS certification is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to spot important details and potential risks.
  • Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to learn quickly.
  • Comfort handling multiple priorities at once.
  • A self-starter who also works well in a team.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Persistence, diligence, and good time management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • French-English bilingual ability is a plus.
