Role Overview

As a cloud kitchen dispatch support lead, you will oversee the smooth and timely movement of food orders from the operating brand to the assigned riders. The role requires close coordination with kitchen teams, delivery riders, partner suppliers, service providers, and customer service to keep dispatch operations running efficiently.

Key Duties

You will also be responsible for keeping kitchen KPIs on track, making sure technical systems and internet connectivity remain operational, carrying out food safety inspections, completing administrative work, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment at all times.

  • Complete the required operational shift checklist for opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure that technical equipment and internet access remain functional throughout all shifts.
  • Guide, supervise, and support the dispatch team, including training when needed.
  • Oversee the order dispatch process from partner kitchens to riders in an effective and timely manner.
  • Handle issues related to orders or deliveries and coordinate resolutions with customers, riders, and the customer service center.
  • Make sure partners follow food safety rules and maintain strong hygiene standards.
  • Carry out regular food safety checks and audits following the kitchen inspection process.
  • Keep communication clear and timely between customers, riders, and dispatch staff.
  • Ensure all dispatch activities meet company policies, industry requirements, and safety standards.
  • Escalate shift-related issues to kitchen managers and, where possible, fix them during the shift itself.
  • Track and manage kitchen performance indicators such as FIR, AVTC, Vendor Delay, and Vendor Net Fail.
  • Ensure all visitors complete the visitor questionnaire and health declaration before entering the kitchen premises.

Qualifications

The role requires strong basic computer skills, the ability to collect and interpret data, and fluency in Arabic. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatch operations or logistics. Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays is also necessary. Experience in cloud kitchen operations is considered an advantage.
