Role Overview

As a Kitchen Steward, reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of kitchen and food service equipment to uphold our high service standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Cleaning and rinsing of crockery and cutlery, loading and unloading dishwashers, and storing items appropriately.
• Manual washing of pots and pans.
• Ensuring that all food and beverage outlets receive clean and sanitized operational equipment.
• Proper handling, transport, and storage of food items following safety protocols.
• Cleaning kitchen benches and maintaining hygienic workspaces.
• Maintaining floor cleanliness by sweeping and mopping regularly.

Candidate Profile

• Highly motivated and committed team player, passionate about their work.
• Preferably has commercial dishwashing experience and familiarity with fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Knows stock management techniques and general kitchen cleaning procedures.
• Adheres strictly to safe work practices and hygiene standards.
• Exhibits solid communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Flexible to work on various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
